Meet Some Happy Clients

My friend and I were in St. Lucia (March 2021) for about 4 days and had the pleasure of Dannyboy taking us everywhere. We were traveling with the COVID restrictions in place and he made us feel absolutely safe. He was our driver for all our destinations and he’s such a funny guy! He was our roundtrip airport driver and took us on a two day tour (south and north). We hit so many spots and got so many great photos to forever remember by. He was always timely to pick us up and flexible. He is very communicative and answers quickly through WhatsApp. His van is absolutely spotless too and we loved the great vibes. It was never a dull moment with Dannyboy 🙂 He is always willing to take photos and goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family if they ever find themselves in St. Lucia. Thank you so much for the amazing memories and showing us the delicious local food!!

Colette

Dannyboy was an amazing tour guide who picked us up from Sandals Halcyon Beach and drove us to the Majestic Piton Hike. Danney was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond for my husband and I on our honeymoon! I highly recommend Danney for the Piton Hike or any other tours you are interested in. He had a wonderful attitude and showed us all the highlights on the island.

Upon reading all these comments, I cant think of anything original to say, as it seems to have all been said, sooooo, I will just reiterate what a great time we had with Dannyboy! He is flexible and cheerful and extremely animated in his enthusiasm for his island home. He and his wife Cathy run a terrifically well organized company. He was always promptly “on the spot” with a smile, fun facts and laughter.
One comment Ive not read (Good to Know) is a direct line to his heart is through snacks!!! Loves em!!! So pack a few extras for the guy behind the wheel, commentary, and fun experiences.

We had a fabulous day with Danny boy for the six hour tour of St. Lucia! I highly endorse and agree with all the great reviews so far. I emailed him last minute at mid nite the night before, requesting a tour and he emailed me first thing in the morning and we joined his 9am group. Great day touring winding roads, scenic views, rum and jam tasting, lunch, mud baths and hot sulfur springs, with his artistry and photography, and waterfalls. There was an option to go to a beach or botanical garden or walk around a volcano, if the group wanted that instead of the mud bath. There were extra fees for entering the mud bath, waterfall and lunch. He also supplied cold water, beer and soda. We had a great day in St. Lucia. His knowledge and jokes and riddles were a lot of fun!

Jane and Eugene

DannyBoy was exceptionally friendly, knowledgable, and fun! He taught us some interesting history of St Lucia and was animated. He drove us to the Gros Piton hike. The added water and Piton beer was an added touch. St Lucia Best Experience Tour was more adorable than what our resort offered.

WHAT A GODSEND!!! DannyBoy is the man and truly added a forever memorable experience to our entire trip in St. Lucia. (Yes, a full-day tour with DannyBoy will have you missing St. Lucia before you even leave). From pickup to dropoff, Danny was so attentive, personable and such a great spirit. Ladies, allow me to disclose, Danny is also a professional photographer (took the best pics for us 😊). Ughhh it was so much fun traveling with Danny all day. Let me tell you how sweet of a man he is, my friend got road sick (the hills in St. Lucia made us feel nauseous during longer rides) It was pouring rain outside, and Danny exited the car, covered my friend from the rain, all while allowing her to vomit on the roadside until she felt better. She told me to thank him a billion times. Throughout the trip, Danny was so informative; be prepared, you just might get a quiz at the end of the day 😜. We miss you Danny. Until next time. Definitely recommended, and thank me later😉🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨

What a amazing day we have had with Dannyboy from start to finish.
Our private trip round the island of St Lucia was outstanding, Dannyboy’s knowledge his jokes his quiz & not forgetting his ‘PHD’. 😆 He is so kind offering us drinks from his cooler always making sure we were ok & enjoying ourselves.
From the moment I messaged him nearly a year ago to the actual day of our trip, he has been nothing but helpful offering advice, by the time the day came it was like meeting a old friend 🙂. His vehicle is very comfy & has AC. He is on time & knows the back roads & the best photo stops.
Highly recommend Dannyboy if you are coming to St Lucia.
Thank you so much 😊 good vibes

Michelle

Dannyboy gave us one of the best tours we have ever had. There were six of us in our group. He was very knowledgeable about the island and entertained us the entire tour. He gave us a tremendous amount of information during the tour and then gave us a fun quiz on the return trip. It was amazing how much of the information we absorbed. In the short time we were with him, we saw everything we wanted to see and learned a lot about St. Lucia. We would highly recommend taking a tour with Dannyboy if you go to St. Lucia.

Wonderful tour. Amazing island! Picking this company for our tour was the best choice.

St. Lucia is a beautiful island, much like Hawaii. The best part of the day was spending it with Dannyboy! He meet us promptly at the cruise ship port holding a sign with our name on it. Dannyboy speaks clearly and is extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of his island. During our drive, Dannyboy not only was knowledgeable but had the cutest personality as well. My husband and I enjoyed his jokes and stories immensely. Our tour included a visit to the volcano area, waterfall, mud baths, fishing villages and some shopping. We would highly recommend this tour company with Dannyboy as your tour guide!

We had the most amazing day with Dannyboy!! We found him on a Trip Advisor after googling local tours of St Lucia. I was a little apprehensive booking a tour outside of the usual hotel rep route, but I needn’t have worried. I messaged him through Facebook and got a speedy reply. We told him what we would like to do and see and he arranged to pick us up at a time and day to suit. He was prompt, with a spacious clean car, with a bonus cool box of beers and juice. The two hour bumpy, twisting drive we had endured from the airport melted away to nothing, with Dannyboys careful driving and constant entertaining chat. Very knowledgable about his island and passionate about providing the best customer service. We went to Castries, Canaries, Anse la Ray and the banana plantation, where he pumped us with so much information and took some memorable photos for us. We saw the Pitons too. The visit to the sulph springs was fab, followed by the mud bath, which was the highlight for me! Dannyboy provided personal service throughout, and we arrived before, and left long after, the hotel tours that were there at the same time. The waterfall was beautiful, but water shoes are needed…..it’s very stony underfoot. Dannyboy then took us to a local, family run restaurant, where he had pre-ordered for us the most delicious meal of authentic carribean food! We paid a little under £15 for two huge platefuls of food and drinks! At our request Dannyboy stopped for a little duty free shopping in Rodney Bay on the way home, a trip during which he tested our knowledge of the island to see if we had been listening……I think we passed!! Amazing day, half the price of commercial tours, and probably 100% better. Thanks Dannyboy for helping us make memories!

Danney Pierre aka Dannyboy was our driver to the Airport at the end of our vacation. He made the hour plus ride seem much shorter with his history of the island and many stories. We laughed all the way. Great PHD.

‘Breathtaking Waterfalls, Amazing St. Lucia Tour

We were so ecstatic to book our tour with Dannyboy. He arranged a beautiful tour of the island. Dannyboy is definitely a ‘MUST’ in paradise. John, Michelle, Neal & will forever cherish our memories with his amazing tour company. I plan to stay in touch with Dannyboy & he is definitely an amazing tour guide. His smile is infectious!

What can we say about Danney Pierre aka Dannyboy that will get you dialling for his taxi service, firstly it’s not just a taxi service, it’s a tour guide experience plus!!!
Danny taught us so many facts about his home island that when Gillian and I left Danny at the airport we were astounded by his knowledge and his passion for all things St Lucian.

My advice is is if your booking a taxi or wanting the best tour guide on the island his no is 1 (758) 285-3427

“Great entertaining tour of the Island”

Danny Boy was the driver in charge of our transfer from the Hewanorra airport to our resort in Castries City but Danny Boy is no regular driver, he actually gave us a tour of the island. While the transfer was more than 1 hour, we didn’t get a chance to be bored, he explained to us everything about the island, its history, culture, etc. He pointed to all interesting things while driving us and explaining how people in St Lucia celebrate Christmas (since it was Dec 24th).
We didn’t get a chance to book additional tours with him but I would trust him to give you the best tour of the island.

“TOP RECOMMENDED TOUR, EXPERT SERVICE”

If you’re goal is to explore St. Lucia (experience the culture, learn its history and get the best views only the locals know) then this tour is the way to go. Danny Boy delivers all of this in a personal, casual and friendly way that you just can’t get from the big company tours. And there are no groups. It’s personal and in our case it was me, my wife and Danny Boy. Can’t get more personal than that. Most memorable is that he tailored the experience to our needs and balanced that with showing us things we needed to know to fully understand the island, its history and experience things tourists would easily overlook if not guided. Take the whole day. Not a few hours, but the whole day. We took 7 hours and could have kept going. For such a small island, there’s a ton to see and experience and Danny Boy is the right person for the job. Skip the commercial tours and have a great time.

“GOOD VIBES”

Danny Boy is a great tour guide. He tells you about the island and its people in a very entertaining way. It never gets boring! We scheduled a private tour, Danny was right on time which is rare as most operate on island time. We stayed at a Sandals resort and would have paid more than double with the hotel, and would have not had a private tour. We also appreciated the many stops we took for pictures. Danny helped keeping the vendors away who are trying to sell their souvenirs. He also brought a cold beer for each one of us, and even stopped at a bar to get us one more. Can’t go wrong with Danny Boy!

“Can’t go wrong with Danny Boy!!”

This was my first trip to St. Lucia and like all of us worldly travelers, I wanted it to be a memorable one. Danny Boy certainly made sure of that. Prior to my arrival, I did a lot of research on Tripadvisor and arranged a reasonably priced round trip airport transportation with St. Lucia Best Experience Tours. As most of you guys know, all of the international flights arrive at the Hewanorra Intl Airport which is located in the southern part of the island and my girlfriend and I were staying in the Rodney Bay area ( northern part ) which is an hour and a half away. As we walked out of the airport, Danny Boy was there to greet us and once I identified myself, he took our bags and we were on our way. As part of the transportation pick up, you are provided with a complimentary beverage or beer of your choice so naturally I decided to try my first Piton. Not bad at all. Although the drive was a long one, Danny Boy ensured that we were relaxed/comfortable and he answered all of our questions. He’s a very personable, knowledgeable and funny guy which made it easier for us to confirm our day tour of the island with him. Being born and raised in the West Indies, I’m very familiar with the old saying ” operating on island time ” , however that was not the case with Danny Boy. On the day of our tour, he met us at our hotel and he was punctual. Once we got on the road, we were again presented with a lot of historical information about the different places/sites. We drove from place to place and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As part of the tour ( which was also reasonably priced ) we were again provided with complimentary drinks and after visiting several sites, we were taken to a nice local restaurant for lunch. The food was amazing. Towards the end of the tour, we decided to go to the rum distillery to sample the different rums which was another highlight for us. On the day of my flight, Danny boy arrived at the hotel on time and ensured that we arrived at the airport safely. All in all, my girlfriend and I were extremely pleased with the decision that we made to choose St. Lucia Best Experience Tours and Danny Boy. He really exceeded expectations and went above and beyond to meet our needs. What more can I say? If you want to have a good experience from beginning to end, you can’t go wrong with Danny Boy!!

“Danny boy the great!!”

Our first meeting with Danny Boy was amazing. Such a wonderful man and made our over an hour journey to our resort such fun. We were travelling as a family with teenage boys and they loved him so much. Loved the extra treatment we got of cold Piton Beer, on a hot day, so caring and thoughtful. We used Danny Boy for other excursions in St. Lucia and my boys couldn’t wait to be with him as we had such laughs. We had different drivers too but they were not as much fun as Danny Boy!! He makes sure you listen well as he tests you at the end, which was so much fun!!! Can’t say enough about Danny Boy!!! Book him and you will never regret it. Hopefully he is still telling people the joke about the 3 RINGS, that my husband told him. We would definitely book him if we return there.

“Absolutely Amazing Experience!!!!”

Absolutely one of the best experiences of all! Danny Boy is so wonderful and intelligent! Knows the island and where all the magical places are to visit! We did a private tour (my husband and I) – drove us around the island…. GORGEOUS views!!!! Got to experience local life – visited beautiful creatures indigenous to the island, climb the volcano, experience a warm mud bath, swim in a mineral bath under a gorgeous waterfall….. eat at an amazing local restaurant where the food was beyond delicious words! We so enjoyed our day with Danny Boy – it was like we knew him our whole lives! Great information on country history, politics, education, wildlife, vegetation and living! Just a perfect day! If you are considering any kind of excursion… this is the ONE to do! You will get so much out of this, you will want to keep coming back to learn even more! Thank you Danny Boy and Cathy for such an amazing experience!!!!

We took a cruise and we were in St. Lucia on November 4th 2015. I found this here on Trip advisor, so I emailed and asked some questions, they were very quick at replying. I confirmed date and they said someone would be waiting at the information desk with a sign with my name. We got off the ship and Danney Boy was very easy to find! I was truly worried about what we might encounter with this tour booking online and no money exchanging hands, but I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. After a short walk(300 yrds) Danney Boy our tour guide rolls up in a EXTREMELY clean and newer Toyota SUV. There were 4 of us for the tour(1 which is handicapped and was able to participate), we drove around and he showed us points of interest of the island. You can do as much or as little as you want. Danney Boy stopped along the way for breath taking photo ops, offered us beer, pop, water, or juice from a cooler in the back. We stopped in a couple of fishing villages along the way, Soufriere, the Volcano, a walk under waterfall and a beach stop. All along the way telling us about the history of St. Lucia. Danney Boy got us back to our cruise port with plenty of time to spare(was MAIN concern). One thing I will always remember from Danney Boy, his favorite saying “No Pressure…No Problem” I guess when you live on a volcano that is 200 years over due to blow…No Pressure…No Problem! Would I book this tour again?? Absolutely without a doubt I would, and would request Danney Boy!

Took two tours of St. Lucia from Carnival Liberty. The first – 10 Best of St. Lucia was guided by a young woman named Naiasha (I think). She really told us tons about life in the islands. I learned so much from her. We visited a banana plantation and rode all the way around the island to the volcanic domes, the Pitons. Stopped at a beach in a little village. Very tiny houses and much poverty but people were really friendly, offering an array of colourful souvenirs. Our second trip was another tour of the island but included a catamarin ride – and a lot of rum punch. Really had a blast.

Simply the best !
Yes…it’s true as far as I am concerned…
Whether it is a transfer or a tour these guys do it right…
Their level of service is “all that”…
Others could learn from them…
I came with a group to St.Lucia and did an all day land and sea tour and an all day land tour to try and cover all there is and these guys certainly tried to give us their all…and St.Lucia’s all…
Cathy, Danny, Aldan (our main tour guide) and even Sammy (one transfer only) are simply good folk and very professional pre-arrival and during…. every good thing previously posted in this forum by others is no lie…..

Our driver, Sammy, met us at the cruise pier and whisked my mom and me to all the places on our custom itinerary, along the roller-coaster road thru the fishing villages of Anse la Raye and Canaries, thru historic Soufriere to the Tet Paul Nature Trail, which provides a gorgeous view of both Pitons. Sammy then drove us to the “drive-in volcano” and took photos of us soaking in the mud baths. After cleaning up, we toured Morne Coubaril Plantation, which we enjoyed, and ate lunch at the buffet, which was a bit of a rip-off. I suspect we could have eaten a more ‘local’ lunch in the nearby village for the same or less money. On the way back to the ship we stopped at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, a well-preserved 100+ year old church with biblical scenes in which the characters are black. Sammy did a nice job imparting knowledge about local flora and history. We saw and learned so much more than our fellow cruisers on the ship’s shore excursions.

Had a wonderful day exploring the island while in port for the day while on a cruise. Cathy had always answered all our emails promptly and Sammy proved to be a very knowledgeable guide for the day. The roads were a winding and the sights a plentiful. We enjoyed our stops along the way. Never felt rushed and Sammy was quick to a lend a hand with taking some photos when we asked him too. ~ Wouldn’t hesitate to book with this company again if we ever make it back to St. Lucia.

We arrived by cruise ship and had been told the Pitons were less than 30 miles from the terminal. However, the road is so winding that it takes at least an hour to drive to the Pitons, allowing for just a few quick beautiful snapshot opportunities. We booked a local taxi driver who was wonderful! BUT we did not realize that you really do need to start the drive very early due to the high humidity which just sucked the life out of us during our Piton climb. We are in fairly good shape and enjoy hiking, but it was hard. Take water, or the best would be a camelbac. Good shoes are a must. AND IT IS A UNESCO SITE SO YOU WILL BE CHARGED A HIKING FEE PER PERSON, IN US FUNDS! The required local guide was wonderful, the scenery fantastic. The trail varied between easy and climbing over huge boulders, sometimes pulling yourself up by tree roots. Enjoy, but climb early in the day. The hike will take between 2.5 – 4 hours round trip.

We enjoyed the botanical gardens and lunch. The mud baths were disappointing (you don’t actually “bathe” in the mud… you rub it on). The snorkeling was OK…. I hope there are better places to snorkel on the island. The tour guide and catamaran staff were great. The ride back was fun.

We took a taxi tour in St. Lucia in December 2015. We are very satisfied with the tour and services of the driver Sammy. The car was in excellent condition. The program of the tour was adjusted to our preferences, the driver was on time waiting for us at the cruise pier. We saw all the beautiful places, Pitons and spent enough time on the beach as we asked. The driver was kind enough to spend some extra time. We will definitely use their services next time in St. Lucia.

NOTE: We went on a Sunday and everything was closed. We were hoping to stop off at road side places to try different foods, etc. and were unable to do that. On the plus side, it was not busy anywhere so we were able to get around quickly.
We asked the driver to show us the island. He took us on a sightseeing tour where we learned a lot about the island. We stopped off at many photo ops. The only thing I didn’t like was that the driver stopped at multiple stops so we could be sold to. I thought the peddlers were just at the good photo spots until we said that we didn’t want to stop at a place and he pulled over anyway. At this location we didn’t want to get out and a guy waved at the driver, opened up our door to sell his items to us. When we said no, he shut the door and we left.
We are lunch at a nice little restaurant with a view of the Pitons called The Beacon. It had great food and a great view. We got there a little early and waited for the buffet to be set up and it was nice knowing our food was fresh.

My brother and I took a Southern Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Sun last November, as a scouting trip to see what we liked in the region, and where we would like to spend more time. The winner was NOT Barbados. NOT Dominica. ST LUCIA won, hands down. And the reason is the personal attention we received on a private tour with this operator. We shared the tour with another couple and the cost was what you would pay per person for a group tour. Truly outstanding service and personal touches like stopping for coconut refreshments and another stop at a bakery. We are headed back to St Lucia for a week in late April, and have a tour set up for April 23. Counting the days.

My wife and I recently stayed at Rendezvous Resort and we’re looking to go to the southern part of St Lucia to hike the Gros Piton and see some of sites in the area. The hotel offered a tour but was pretty much a down and back experience without a chance to see some of the other sites. We were also hesitant to take a larger group tour because like the autonomy to do what we feel like. We stumbled across BET tours online and COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED.

They offer private tours where you can set your own agenda and are more than reasonably priced (after driving the roads we were glad we didn’t, rent a car which we were considering finding the road very rough and narrow down to Soufrie.

We had Danny Boy, the owner, as our guide and couldn’t have been happier. He arrived early and was waiting for us at the steps to our hotel. His Toyota Landcruiser was nearly brand new and an extremely comfortable ride. The best part of the ride down was he filled the time giving a history and facts about the island. Also he knew all the stopping points for fantastic views and would insist on taking photos of us with our camera. At gros piton he arranged a guide for us. The hike was strenuous but offered amazing views along the way and at the top got views off the whole island. 4 hours later Danny was waiting in the exact same spot he parked for us with some ice cold water.

Brian M (Cont)

Afterward he offered to take us anywhere nearby including the Tet Paul Trail, the waterfalls, but we elected the Sulphur Springs and the mud pits to relax our aching muscles. After entering we realized we forgot to pack our towels–like that Danny was gone and returned by the time we got out of the changing room with brand new towels for us. He guided us throughout the process of caking our bodies with the relaxing mud while keeping an eye on our belongings. He also came in very handy to take our pictures sine we we’re covered in mud quite literally. We found the experience very rejuvenating.

Afterwards we returned to our hotel. (Had an oral exam on the way back of the facts we learned on the way down, I’m not so sure we passed but Danny said we did).

Overall, Danny and his tour was the best option for our needs and received much more than we expected. His professionalism is first class and he treats you with much respect (he didn’t even count the money we gave him at the end of the trip–something you don’t see too much this day and age. We would recommend is tour to any of our friends, family, or anyone wanting their own personal tour!!
